You are looking at a NOS "ROBERTSHAW ~ BLANK THERMOSTAT COVER WITH SATIN CHROME ENAMEL FINISH".  The part number is P20-828.   The dimensions are 3 1/8" X 3 1/8".   This item is new in a factory box.  Because it was in surplus for a number of years, the box shows signs of shelf wear.
